Creating good financial habits at an early age can be powerful! So join us during April as we celebrate National Credit Union Youth Month! This year’s theme is “Unleash the Power of Saving at Your Credit Union™.”
At SWHCU, we have the tools to help you and your child take their first financial steps together. Guide your children or teens on their financial journey with a Joint Youth Savings or Checking account. This first small step of opening an account is usually the hardest. But, once complete, that momentum can drive your child toward financial success.
Saving doesn’t mean they need to start with big actions. With our Youth Savings accounts, young members can make deposits of any amount regularly. The earlier they start a savings account, the more time it has to grow. Helping your child build good money habits that will guide them down the right financial path in the future.
In April, SWHCU hosts our annual Youth Coloring Contest with prizes of up to $50. Click the DOWNLOAD button below (or the PRINT icon in the upper-right corner of the preview screen) for the coloring page, entry form, and rules.
*Restrictions apply* See rules for more information. Completed coloring submissions accepted at all 5 locations.
