We have learned of a text messaging phishing scam where fraudsters are pretending to be Southwest Heritage Credit Union. We want to reassure you there has been no internal compromise of our security and your accounts.
It is important that you do not respond to a text message that requests personal or financial information. Southwest Heritage Credit Union fraud department often sends messages from SMS short numbers for alerts, but we will never ask you for personal or financial information in a text message. Nor will we ever ask you to click a link.
Do not click any website links in a text message, always visit our website directly at SWHCU.COM. If you any questions or concerns, call the Business Development Center at 432-250-6040.
If you receive what appears to be a fraudulent text message, we urge you to report it immediately especially if you have clicked any links.
